Street paving to begin in two weeks

Work on repaving three major Bessemer streets is expected to start in the next couple of weeks.

Councilman Albert Soles says the $1.3 million contract with Dunn Constructing will be executed shortly after all the paperwork is complete.

The contract covers 18th, 19th and 20th street and should take about two weeks.

The work will be done at night, Soles said.
