Circuit Court clerk appointed
Bennie Watson today was appointed Bessemer Circuit Clerk to replace retiring Earl Carter.

There are rumors that Louise Alexander has given up her hopes of running for mayor and will go after the clerk of the Circuit Court job. Also, she may want to remain on the City Council. Can she win any election given her troubled past?
